If you don't have access to a Delta or United Lounge, now you will have access to the Escape Lounge. Your entrance fee is either $40 with an advance reservation or $45 for on the spot entrance, but you will have access to plush seating, a buffet of treats, and an open bar. It is in the airport mall second floor next to PGA MSP. - Story Time for Children.
Open Book will have a dedicated children's area where readings will be done regularly. It will open December 17. - Take a Walk:
MSP has a walking path, a 1.4 mile loop that marks every tenth mile on overhead signs. You can lock your luggage while you stroll near C2 and the entrance to Concourse F. Find it at the intersection of the C and D concourses. The path weaves around the G concourse and through the Airport Mall. - Walkway Work Stations.
Climb on the treadmills and walk while you work on your computer. - Visit the Thomson Reuters Gallery.
Art works by employees and their family members begins the show. It will arrive and stay 1 year before the Super Bowl LI exhibit debuts. It is near the entrance to Concourse C. - Take a shower.
XpresSpa has got your covered with showers, mani-pedis, massages, waxing, facials, and haircuts. It is near Gate F6 and at the Intersections of Concourses C and D. - Dining.
There are several new options coming. Some of them include Red Cow, Lake Wine and Cheese, Holy Land Deli, Roasting Plant, and Stone Arch. - A Luxury Hotel.
An Intercontinental Hotel and Resort will open in 2018. It will be connected to Terminal 1 via skyway to Concourses A and B. - Transportation.
Uber and Lyft are both available for rides to and from the airport. Another option is Car2Go. Of course if you use a one way ride, you must park it at a Car2Go area. These are limited to the Minneapolis and St. Paul core. If you drive, there is a Quick Ride Ramp, just off Post Road and Hwy 5. Park your car and wait for a shuttle. It is $14/day compared to $24/day at Terminal 1.
